About
I'm a transformational life and leadership coach. I help uninspired but ambitious people lead authentic, passion-filled lives. Identity is at the heart of everything I do.
If you've ever felt stifled by conventional life, you're not alone. I spent most of my life feeling like a square peg in a round hole. I just never felt enough, whether it was 'Chinese enough', 'English enough' or even 'woman enough'.
"Sarah, you are not a conventional person", my mentor at the time pointed out to me. That was my turning point. I needed an outside perspective to really see that being different was not only OK, it could be liberating. So, the more I discovered about myself, the more meaningful my life became. I already had all I needed in me. I found strength in my differences, embraced my identity and went from fitting in to feeling empowered.
My journey led me to train as a coach to help others love their identity. Since qualifying at the Animas Centre for Coaching in 2020, I've worked with many talented individuals, teams and organisations, helping them to realise their potential.

Alongside my coaching, I work as a digital and transformation lead in the NHS, leading teams through continuous change. I've also just completed a Reiki teacher training programme. My goal is to empower people to live consciously, fully express who they are and learn to face life's challenges with more confidence.

I’ve just completed my Reiki Master (teacher training) course. Reiki came into my life in 2012 and helped me through a difficult time. It is now an expression of who I am and I can't wait to teach others this beautiful practice.

Reading The Source by Dr Tara Swart. Finally, science is validating what many dismissed as woo woo pseudoscience. I’m really enjoying this book!

The Road Less Travelled, M. Scott Peck
I read it at 18 and it made me take a hard look at myself and others. It felt like a coming-of-age moment, preparing me to step out into the world as a young adult. Its lessons still hold true today.
The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho
This beautiful short novel follows a young shepherd in search of his dreams. It taught me to believe in myself, to trust the process, and to cherish the journey and its lessons.
The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle
I discovered this book in my early thirties, at a time when I felt quite lost. As I read it, my partner noticed a change in me; I became more relaxed, calmer, more present - almost 'monk-like'.
